2 terrorists killed in J&K gunfight

As the cordon was tightened around their hideout, the militants started firing triggering the encounter.

Srinagar: An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s  on Thursday morning. Two militants were killed by the security forces during the encounter. The gun battle started on Wednesday when security forces received a tip off about militant presence in the Gund Brath village. As the cordon was tightened around their hideout, the militants started firing triggering the encounter. Both militants were killed on Thursday and weapons were recovered from their possession, a police official said. The Indian parliament was attacked by Jaish-e-Mohammed  (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorists on December 13, 2001
