GST Impact – KTM Reveals New Ex-Showroom Prices
The post-GST prices have seen a marginal hike for bikes below 350cc while bikes above 350cc have seen a major hike
As per the newly implemented GST (Goods and Service Tax) policy, motorcycles above 350cc are witnessing 31 per cent tax compared to motorcycles below 350cc category which face only 28 per cent of the same. KTM currently sells the RC390 and 390 Duke above the 350cc bracket and the duo has attracted the increased tax scheme as per the GST. The RC 200 and 250 Duke have seen a drop of Rs 1,729, which is the highest drop in the ex-showroom price (Delhi) while the RC 390 has received the highest rise in its price, at Rs 3,171. The RC 390 is the most expensive motorcycle offered by KTM and is priced at Rs 2.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the 200 Duke is the most affordable KTM at Rs 1.46 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
While the ex-showroom prices for bikes below 350cc have dropped, the on-road prices have actually risen for most bikes due to hikes in RTO charges and insurance. Refer the ex-showroom prices of all the KTM motorcycles across all major cities in the below mentioned chart.
