With the M1 chipset, Apple has been able to design its own computer processor for the Mac besides acquiring full control of the whole process, from start to finish.

For all the hardcore Apple fans in India, it’s time to rejoice as you can now start ordering Apple MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and MacBook Air. It is interesting to note that these new products are going to be powered by new M1 chip. If you are interested in any of the three Macs then just visit the Apple’s India website to place the order. However, note that the delivery of the laptop or mini is possible in the first week of December. At the time of placing order, you will be able to check on the delivery dates that fluctuate mostly between December 1 and December 7 depending on your pin code. Hence, if you are looking to buy a Mac, there will be a few days waiting period before you it delivered. Check the steps to order the product online.
  • Firstly, log on to Apple India website https://www.apple.com/in/.
  • Then on the top navigation bar, click on Mac.
  • It will show the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac Mini highlighted as “new”.
  • Click on the Mac you want to purchase.
  • On the top right, you will have to click on the blue buy button.
  • Choose the variant you want to buy along with the customization options, otherwise just click add to bag.
  • You will see a delivery date when you enter your address and other information.
  • Once you process the payment, your new Mac should reach you as per the delivery time.

MacBook Air: The Apple M1 powered MacBook Air will cost you Rs 92,900 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. You have the option to customize it with higher RAM and storage and get 16GB RAM and up to 2TB storage. MacBook Air is the first Mac to get powered by the M1 chip. The MacBook Air’s 13-inch display comes with support for P3 colours. The 8-core CPU performs up to 3.5x faster than the previous generation, whereas the 8-core GPU, graphics are up to 5x faster. MacBook Pro: On the other hand, the Apple M1 powered MacBook Pro is presently available in the 13-inch variant only. It starts at Rs 1,22,900 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and can be configured up to 16GB RAM with 2TB storage.  MacBook Pro also features the Neural Engine for high-speed machine learning. There is also Secure Enclave for best-in-class security with features like Touch ID. It offers a Touch Bar and comes with a Magic Keyboard. It also have studio-quality mics for clear recordings and calls. The new ISP also enables sharper images and more detail in shadows and highlights on video calls. Mac Mini: The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of M1 powered Mac Mini is priced at Rs 64,900 with customization options of 16GB RAM and up to 2TB storage. The new Mac mini features an 8-core CPU with up to 3x faster performance than the previous generation. There is also an 8-core GPU that delivers up to six times an increase in graphics performance, allowing Mac mini to handle performance-intensive tasks like complex 3D rendering with ease.
