BJP Concedes Defeat, Puts Up Posters After AAP's Thumping Victory In Delhi Polls

Earlier, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari said he is not nervous as he knows that the polls will have something good for the party.

Delhi election results 2020: It seems the Bharatiya Janata Party has thrown in the towel as Delhi Assembly poll trends showed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is winning with a thumping majority, the saffron party has put up posters at its Delhi party office saying that it is not discouraged by defeat. A poster in the Delhi BJP office has a photo of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and reads 'Victory doesn't makes us arrogant, defeat doesn't demoralise us', reported IANS. As per trends at 12:30 pm, AAP surged ahead of BJP towards a landslide victory.  The Kejriwal-led party was leading in 58 seats while BJP was ahead in mere 12 seats. Congress hadn't opened its account by then. Delhi BJP leader Manoj Yadav said that this is an old poster and it should not be linked to the Delhi Assembly election results. Earlier, Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari said he is not nervous as he knows that the polls will have something good for the party.
