Multiple airlines operate on this route, including Air India, Virgin Atlantic, JetBlue Airways, and American Airlines and you can choose the one that suits you, according to your budget. Flights may take between 21 to 40 hours depending on the layover, as there are no direct flights to Barbados and tickets may cost you around ₹90,000 to approximately ₹1,50,000.

Taxis are the most affordable and easiest way to reach any destination, and you do not have to waste your energy bargaining as the prices are fixed based on the distance you travel. If you are a bit into walking, then public buses will be another fast option. Going eco-friendly, you will find most of the buses are electric. You will also have private minibuses and small ferries as an alternative to taxis, which may seem a bit costly.

For accommodation, the island has a variety of options, including budget-friendly hostels, homestays, resorts, and Airbnb. You can also opt for Couchsurfing, reducing your trip budget more than expected.

As the official language of Barbados is English, you will find it easy to communicate there. However, you may find people speaking in the local Bajan dialect as well. For a week-long holiday, you may have to spend approximately ₹2,00,000. As of now, one Barbadian dollar is equal to 41.42 Indian rupees.
