Ratnagiri:

Known worldwide for the production of Alphonso mangoes, Ratnagiri is a charming port town lying between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea. It makes for a beautiful weekend retreat where lush hills meet lazy coastlines. Tourists can relax on the unspoiled beaches of Guhagar and enjoy the view from the Ratnagiri lighthouse. With its sheer beauty and relaxed vibe, this place is even more special to visit during the summers of May.

The coastal district comprises nearly 50 small towns at the Sindhudurg Fort, which was built under Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Sindhudurg is majorly a winter place, enjoying adrenaline-pumping water sports such as snorkelling alongside silent beach life. The region is also famous for serving Malvani cuisine, representing authentic coastal flavours. 

Murud:

Murud is famous for its splendid beaches and historic sites located near Alibaug. It possesses the majestic Murud Janjira Fort, a must-visit, sitting on an islet, a witness to the glory of the town in the past. The other places of interest are the Palace of Nawab, Khokri Gumbaj tombs, and the Dutta Mandir. Adventure sports and peaceful walks by the beaches make Murud one of the most enchanting beach destinations across the Konkan Coast.

Situated in Dapoli, Harnai is the least-known coastal treasure for people who want to spend some time alone or who enjoy experiencing true Konkani hospitality. Beaches, such as Harnai Karde, Ladghar, Kelshi, and Anjarle, are all still pristine. The village is great for visits in the rainy season, as it comes alive with lush greenery. The tourist can also visit Parshuram Bhumi and the fort Suvarnadurg to experience nature and culture combined.

Parshuram's Land, many temples, and spiritual sites, Chiplun is a heavenly place for worshippers. However, the sight becomes breathtaking during and after the monsoon when greenery and waterfalls are worthy of notice.
