Kolkata: Restaurant Mocambo allegedly refuses to serve diner & her driver

New Delhi: A well-known restaurant in Kolkata's Park Street area, Mocambo, has reportedly denied food to one of its customers. On Saturday, Dilashi Hemnani wanting to eat there, narrated in a Facebook post how she was refused food just because she was accompanied by her driver, Manish. Since then people are posting on the restaurant's Facebook wall, criticising it for its actions. They are also appealing for the restaurant's boycott. Giving an in-depth  account of the restaurant's alleged discriminatory behavior, Hemnani, Marketing Manager at Tata Motors, wrote a post on her Facebook. She, who was visiting Kolkata, said that it was her last day in the city. Manish had provided good service throughout her stay, so she wanted to take him out for dinner as a token of thanks.
