SHAMEFUL: Video of Senior Police Officer Allegedly Molesting Woman Cop In Coimbatore Goes Viral

New Delhi: A rather shocking video clip has emerged in which a policeman seems to be molesting his junior, female cop while controlling the crowd. The lady has not come forward with a complaint against her superior.

However, til now, no action has been taken against the Assistant Commissioner.

"I didn't even notice that it was a woman standing in front of me," he says. "I am sure I didn't do it repeatedly. Media is putting the visuals on loop and showing me in bad light," he alleged. As per reports, Coimbatore Commissioner A Amalraj has taken notice of the video and an enquiry is underway in the matter.

The disturbing incident took place while students were protesting for Anitha (17), who took her life after she was unable to get a medical seat. The cops in the city were attempting to detain the protesters in a waiting bus. When The News Minute (TNM) which broke the story contacted the AC over the footage, he cried foul. "There was a protest happening and I had to control the situation. I had no other intentions or motive. I had to intervene to ensure the task was completed," he claimed, reported TNM.

The man who appears to be molesting her is Assistant Commissioner (AC) Jayaram. A video clip shot on Monday near the Gandhipuram signal in the central part of the city. The footage shows even women wearing Khaki aren't safe.

His left hand appears to be groping the female while he is trying to control the crowd. The struggling woman, a sub inspector from Coimbatore, attempts to push away his hand over and over again but to no avail.
