BJP to hold National Executive Meet with 2500 delegates tomorrow in Delhi

New Delhi [India], Sept 24 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with its thirteen Chief Ministers, 1400 legislators, 280 Parliamentarians - in all around 2,500 delegates, will be holding a National Executive committee meeting at Delhi's Talkatora Stadium on Monday.

Chaired by BJP National President Amit Shah, the day-long session will be the first-ever televised National Executive meet.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to deliver a speech that might shape the political discourse in the run-up to the winter session of Parliament, and assembly polls in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

With election season round the corner, preparations for the upcoming state polls and the 2019 general election will be part of the agenda.

The meeting will focus on arming the delegates with an array of arguments against the critics of the government's economic policy.

The meeting will also serve as the closing ceremony of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya birth centenary programme.

On Sunday, the party began the two-day event with an internal meeting to finalise the programme. (ANI)
