Bangladesh Pushes India Once Again On Teesta River, Technical Team To Be Set Up

In his first bilateral meeting since coming to power for the third time, PM Modi met Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina in New Delhi. The talks ranged from difficult issues like the Teesta River water dispute to border killings by the BSF.

India-Bangladesh: In their first bilateral meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina addressed some of the long-pending irritants that continue to weigh down the friendly bilateral relationship between both countries. Both leaders held talks on difficult issues such as killings along the Bangladesh-India border and sharing of the River Teesta.
