The Finals League Concludes: Red Parasite’s Bengaluru Starbusters Aces, Leaves Scout’s Ahmedabad Meteors Behind

The tournament kicked off with a player auction where team owners and captains handpicked their squads, blending professional players and influencers for an exciting mix.

Skyesports, a leading global gaming and esports community builder, has successfully concluded The Finals League, an IPL-inspired tournament where 10 teams, each representing different Indian cities, competed for fame and a share of a $10,000 prize pool.

This competition featured The Finals, a fast-paced first-person shooter by Embark Studios, gaining traction in India due to its unique "Cash Out" mode. In this mode, four teams of three players drop into a battlefield, aiming to eliminate opponents and collect the most cash before the timer runs out, adding fresh excitement to the multiplayer genre.

The Finals Unfolds

The tournament kicked off with a player auction where team owners and captains handpicked their squads, blending professional players and influencers for an exciting mix. The competition ran from September 14 to 25, with a double round-robin Group Stage. Out of the ten city-based teams, eight advanced to the October Playoffs.

Following an IPL-style eliminator format, the top teams faced off, with the Bengaluru Starbusters, Ahmedabad Meteors, Punjab Asteroids, and Rajasthan Galactics making it to the final stages of the tournament. Led by Red Parasite, the Bengaluru Starbusters emerged victorious, edging out ScoutOP's Ahmedabad Meteors.

Commenting on the team's fun-centered philosophy and the social elements of the game, Red Parasite from the winning team Bengaluru Starbusters said, "We had a great time in The Finals League. Even if we lost, it wouldn’t have mattered because we made amazing friends and created a great vibe together.”

Red Parasite shared some valuable tips for the aspiring esports athletes and said, "The Finals team is hosting many tournaments in India. If you’re looking to break into new games, jump into The Finals and start your esports journey here—it’s full of opportunities."
