The Forgotten Army - Azaadi ke Liye Kabir Khan’s ‘The Forgotten Army - Azaadi ke Liye’, which is based on real life events, told the true stories of the men and women who fought for India’s independence from the British Raj as part of the Indian National Army led by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The web series featured Vicky Kaushal’s younger brother Sunny Kaushal and Sharvari Wagh in key roles. Interestingly, Khan has made a documentary on the same subject two decades ago for Doordarshan.
