Zee TV’s 'Meri Saasu Maa' to go off-air !

New Delhi: After 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', 'Balika Vadhu' and 'Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum' its time for another daily soap to say goodbye. According to the reports,  Zee TV's popular daily soap 'Meri Saasu Maa' is all set to bid adieu to the viewers. If reports are to be believed, the show which has witnessed huge change recently by replacing the male lead of the show, will air its last episode on August 26. Leading entertainment portal Tellychakkar quoted a source saying, “Meri Saasu Maa never managed to rake in big numbers irrespective of the drama elements introduced. The show which launched on 26 January will go off air on 26 August, thus will end up being on air for exactly 7 months. Sanyukt will take the 7.30 PM slot from 29 August.” However when the portal buzzed the lead actor Siddharth Arora about the same, he said that he is unaware of anything like this. On the other hand Rahul Tewary has confirmed the reports.
