Sasural Simar Ka is NOT going off-air, confirms lead actor

New Delhi: Fans of daily soap 'Sasural Simar Ka' can breathe a sigh of relief. Yesterday, a leading tabloid had reported that the makers of the Colors TV's show have decided to shut down due to low TRPs. The tabloid quoted an insider saying, “It is the right time for us to have a logical end to the story. The 20-year leap, which was recently effected, has not worked in our favour. The TRPs have also not been too impressive since long, so the decision has been taken to end it.” But now the lead actor of the show has denied the report and got upset over the shut down rumours. Talking exclusively to entertainment portal BollywoodLife, lead actor Dheeraj Dhoopar said, “This is total rubbish. I wonder from where people get their news. Why don’t you ask them?.”
