Ramayan: Actor Arvind Trivedi Aka 'Ravan' Debuts On Twitter; Fans Trend '#RavanOnTwitter'

While Arun Govil & Dipika Chikhlia already have their account on social media sites, their co-star Arvind Trivedi too has now made his debut on social media.

New Delhi: Actor Arvind Trivedi, who became a household name after playing the role of 'Ravan' in Doordarshan's much-loved 'Ramayan' featuring Arun Govil & Dipika Chikhlia as 'Ram' & 'Sita' respectively, is back in the limelight all thanks to the show's re-run amid the novel Coronavirus outbreak. While Arun & Dipika already have their account on social media sites, their co-star Arvind Trivedi too has now made his debut on social media. He made his Twitter debut yesterday (April 18), the same day his character 'Ravan' got killed by 'Ram' in the show.

Coming back to 'Ramayana', it is an Indian historical-drama epic television series, which originally aired during 1987-1988, created, written, and directed by Ramanand Sagar. Later, show's re-runs were aired on Star Plus and Star Utsav. The show was a television adaptation of the ancient Indian Hindu epic of the same name, and is primarily based on Valmiki's Ramayan and Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas.
