New Delhi: The much hyped Sony Entertainment Television show ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ made into headlines few week ago. The reason was show’s story of of 9-year-old boy getting married to a 21-year-old girl. Well, few days ago there was also news that show will take a huge leap and makers were searching for another male lead opposite Tejasswi Prakash. But things are not going as planned. The latest information regarding the show we have got is that it has gone off air.

Our credible source tells that show didn’t go on air last night. And now the channel had deciding to wrap the serial having Kaun Banega Crorepati in their kitty. With a lot of controversy already around the show, channel didn’t want to take any further risk and this is why it was not broadcasted on Monday. When we contacted Tejasswi, she remained unavailable for the comment. But when we asked other lead actor Suyyash Rai, he said. “Something is definitely going on but we haven’t got any notice and there is no confirmation about this yet.” Also, while talking to HT, actor Jiten Lalwani said, "Yes. If the episode hasn’t aired then you know the news is true.”
