OHHHH! ‘Diya Aur Baati’ to end on August 11

New Delhi: Sandhya and Sooraj’s jodi won’t be seen on TV anymore, as the show ‘Diya Aur Baati’ is about to end. Earlier we told you that Star Plus’s hit show, will come to an end but date was not disclosed. Now we have the information, that the curtains will finally go down on 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' on August 11. Getting nostalgic about the show the main lead Anas Rashid said ‘I am having mixed feelings as the show is getting over now. On one hand, we are sad that this five-year journey ends here and on the other, I am happy that my role was challenging.’ Actor also said that this role helped him get calm and sober in many ways in lifeand he is looking forward to newer opportunities. Mahesh Bhatt’s show ‘Naamkaran’ will replace the ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum.’
