New bride Shweta Basu Prasad shares UNSEEN photos from her Wedding & Engagement ceremonies!

The popular child artist who won National Award for her debut film 'Makdee' in 2002 and who was last seen in Star Plus show 'Chandra Nandini' last year, tied the knot with her boyfriend Rohit Mittal on December 14th in Pune. Shweta Basu Prasad had earlier shared the pictures from her Bengali wedding on her Instagram profile and days after her marriage, the new bride again takes to her social media page to share some more candid-unseen moments from her wedding ceremonies. Shweta Basu Prasad Wedding: The ‘Makdee’ actress shares first pictures from her Bengali marriage ceremony! Shweta and her filmmaker hubby Rohit had a funfilled wedding at The Grand Hyatt hotel of Pune and the stage for the mehendi ceremony was built on a swimming pool. Shweta writes a long caption thanking a few for their dreamy wedding and goes on to share multiple pictures and videos using the same text. It read - "Happy times go by in a flash but also last forever!Few people Rohit and I would like to jointly thank, firstly our families for relentlessly and very patiently planning everything for the wedding @surmittal @mini_bose_30 Ruchi Mittal, Ashok Mittal and everyone else involved. Thanks to all our family and friends who made this wedding so memorable! Thanks to all our well wishers 🙏🏻 Here, at Aaibudo Bhaath (bride’s honour lunch at Maternal uncle and grandmom) at my dida and mama’s house, I wore a red-bordered saree, a gift from Maa @mini_bose_30 ❤️" The first set of pictures were from her bengali bridal shower ceremony called 'Aiburobhat’ that we shared with you earlier too. She then shared some rocking pictures from her mehendi ceremony in which the gorgeous bride-to-be-then is seen wearing a red lehenga and she along with her hubby-to-be-then Rohit and family members enjoys it to the fullest.

And if you're wondering what's the water doing at the base of the stage, excited Shweta explaind in her caption - "yes that stage is on top of the swimming pool" Shweta also shared the pictures from her Engagement ceremony. Shweta, who also has appeared in various other Bollywood, Tamil & Telugu films and TV shows including 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' in past 16  years, looked gorgeous in a black dress at the ceremony as the two exchanged rings.
