Woah! Hina Khan & Ishqbaaaz Actress Surbhi Chandna To Play Leads In Ekta Kapoor's New Show?

Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that Ekta Kapoor has finalised Hina Khan and Surbhi Chandna for 'Naagin 5'.

New Delhi: TV buffs have not been able to control their excitement ever since Ekta Kapoor announced a new season of ‘Naagin’. The TV Czarina has confirmed that ‘Naagin 4’ will end with a four-episode finale. Rashami Desai, Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria are expected to shoot for the finale from next week. The loyal fans of the ‘Naagin’ franchise are eagerly waiting to know who will play the female lead in ‘Naagin 5’. The names of Dipika Kakar, Kratika Sengar, Divyanka Tripathi are floating on the internet as probable leads of the show. ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ fame Divyanka squashed all the rumours and denied being part of ‘Naagin 5’. As per the latest, the makers have approached two popular TV actresses to play the leads. We are talking about Hina Khan and Surbhi Chandna. Yes, you read that right. According to a report in an entertainment portal, Ekta Kapoor has decided to rope in Hina and Surbhi for the new season of ‘Naagin’. She was reportedly looking for a fresh yet famous face to play the lead role. "Ekta has apparently finalised Surbhi Chandna, Ishqbaaz fame and Hina Khan to play Naagins in the fifth season. They were looking for a fresh yet famous face to carry on the Naagin legacy and both these ladies enjoy a massive social media following and are extremely famous amongst the Indian audiences," a source told Pinkvilla. The report further said that Hina and Surbhi are yet to give their nod to the makers. They are discussing things with the team. Hina Khan played the role of Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. She left the show last year due to other work commitments. The Kashmiri beauty shot to fame after playing the role of Akshara in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’.

Talking about Surbhi Chandna, the actress was last seen in ‘Sanjivini 2’. She is still fondly known for her role of Anika opposite Nakuul Mehta in ‘Ishqbaaaz’.
