Smriti used to play the role of antagonist ‘Ritika’ whereas Gautam played the role of lead character Ishani’s (Radhika Madan) brother ‘Sharman’ in the show. After the show wrapped up in 2016, the couple start spending time together and came close to each other after which they realized that they are made for each other.
