After months of quiet speculation, actor Kushal Tandon has confirmed that he and Shivangi Joshi have parted ways. The former couple, who first sparked dating rumours on the sets of Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, have now ended their relationship after being separated for over five months.

In a short but direct statement shared in the early hours of Sunday, Kushal wrote, “To all the people I love, jus wanted to say, me and Shivangi are not together any more, it’s been 5 months so yes (sic).” Although the post was removed within minutes, screenshots quickly circulated, confirming what fans had long suspected.

The duo had previously unfollowed each other on social media, fuelling breakup rumours. The deletion of Kushal’s statement only intensified the online buzz, with fans expressing sadness over the end of a much-loved on-screen and off-screen pair.

While Shivangi has not publicly addressed the breakup, she recently shared a message that many interpreted as a reflection of her emotional state. The quote read:“Babygirl, love yourself a little extra right now. You’re balancing so much, handling things no one sees, and doing your best. Give yourself grace.”

From On-Screen Romance to Real-Life Relationship

Kushal and Shivangi first met during the shoot of Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, which aired from July 2023 to February 2024. Their chemistry on screen quickly evolved into a real-life romance. By October 2023, Kushal confirmed they were dating.

In an earlier interview with Times of India, the actor had said, “I’m definitely in love.” He even playfully added that while he had no plans to marry immediately, his mother would love for the wedding to happen the next day.

There were even rumours of an engagement, which both actors denied at the time. Now, with Kushal’s candid admission and Shivangi’s introspective messages, it’s evident that the couple has gone their separate ways, quietly but poignantly.
