Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: THIS 'Balika Vadhu' actress to PLAY Hina Khan aka new Komolika’s mother in the show?

The reboot version of Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ has been making waves ever since the first promo was unveiled. The romantic saga featuring Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan in the roles of Prerna Sharma and Anurag Basu will be launched on September 25 on Star Plus. Parth and Erica have already started shooting for Kasautii 2 and their pictures have already sent the fans into a tizzy. It is heavily rumoured that Hina Khan will step into the shoes of Urvashi Dholakia and reprise the character of Komolika. Although both Hina and Ekta are tight-lipped about the former playing the baddie in KZK 2, speculations are rife that the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress will start shooting for the show in October. As the mystery over the actress playing Komolika continues, the makers have brought on-board another actress to play the role of Mohini’s best friend in the show. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that ‘Devon Ke Dev-Mahadev’ and ‘Uttaran’ fame actress Hetal Yadav will be seen in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. She was also seen in 'Balika Vadhu' and 'Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi'. “Hetal, who was last seen in ALTBalaji’s Home, will be playing the role of Anurag’s mother Mohini’s best friend. Ultimately, she would want her daughter to marry Anurag,” sources told IWMBuzz. For the unititaed, ‘Dhadak’ actress Shubhaavi Choksey will play Anurag Basu’s mother in the show. We wonder if Hetal will play Hina Khan aka new Komolika’s mother Uma Majumdar in KZK 2 as Komolika and Anurag’s mothers were shown to be good friends in the original show. Hina Khan was recently seen at the star-studded premiere of Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Home’. The Bigg Boss 11 finalist even posted a picture with the TV Czerina, which further hinted that she will join the Balaji family. However, the ‘Naagin 3’ & ‘Kundali Bhagya’ producer’s comment on the picture left everyone confused. Grapevines are buzzing with the rumours that Hina Khan is being paid a whopping amount for Kasautii Zindagii Kay and she is the highest paid actress on the show.
