'Kasam' actor Rohit Sharma to play Hina Khan aka Komolika's boyfriend in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'!

TV actress Hina Khan, who became a household name after portraying the protagonist 'Akshara' in the long-running show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' for 8 long years, is finally making her comeback in the fiction space after staying away from the genre for a long time. She is set to enter Ekta Kapoor's popular 'Star Plus' show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' reboot, featuring Parth Samthaan & Erica Fernandes, as the stylish vamp 'Komolika'. Hina aka Komolika's entry will be telecasted in tonight's (29th October) episode. The latest reports suggest that Komolika will not enter alone. According to an entertainment portal, Actor Rohit Sharma, relatively a fresh face, has been roped in to play Komolika's boyfriend. However, it'll be a cameo & Rohit will be seen only in a few episodes of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'. Rohit Sharma, who made her TV debut with the popular youth show 'Sadda Haq', confirmed the same and shared his experience of shooting with Hina Khan. Speaking about the same, he told the portal that, "I was nervous to shoot with her however, she is very cooperative. She rehearsed the lines with me as well." Hina Khan on playing a negative character of 'Komolika' in 'Kasautii...' after playing positive 'Akshara'! Ever since the promo of 'Kasautii...' featuring the 'Bigg Boss 1' runner-up as 'Komolika' came out, Hina is getting a lot of praises from her fans. She recently started shooting for the show & even shared pictures from the first day of shoot on social media. Speaking about Hina Khan's performance as 'Komolika', Rohit further told Bollywood Life that, "As Komolika she is badass! She looks Komolika like perfectly." For the uninitiated, Komolika will finally make her entry in 'Kasautii...' tonight during the engagement ceremony of Prerna and Navin. Hina Khan is indeed at the top of her game as Ekta Kapoor has signed her for another TV show apart from 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2'. As reported earlier, not much is yet known about the untitled show but Hina be the positive lead.
