Karanvir Bohra makes CONFESSSION after becoming father

Naagin 2 actor Karanvir Bohra's wife Teejay gave birth to twin in October last year

Mumbai: Popular for portraying negative characters on the small screen, television actor Karanvir Bohra says after becoming a father to twin daughters, he has evolved as a person and has become more responsible. "The only evolution that has happened in me is that I have become more responsible. Responsibility comes when children come into your life," Karanvir told IANS over phone from Mumbai. Karan married model-VJ Teejay Sidhu in 2006. The two became parents to two twin girls -- Vienna Bohra and Raya Bella Bohra -- in October 2016.

VIENNA - This is my first friend, the first baby I ever met in my life. :) 👶🏻 She was born a month after me. Her name is Londyn Iman. Londyn and Vienna! Haha! We're both from Europe! :) Her Grandma is good at making things. She is my Grandma, too. :) She made me booties before I was born. And this Valentine's hat. I wear it all the time because I love it. ❤️ Londyn lives in Canada. She must be so big now! I haven't seen her in two months! But I will see her soon. We're going on a trip in September - to Mexico. :) I wonder if our Dads will let us wear bikinis? We need to go shopping for bathing suits. And some new dresses. :) Shopping will be fun. BELLA - Today our Dad got a prize because he's a best actor. We felt so proud of him. :) We surprised him on stage! We felt shy, everyone was looking at us! 😌 It was our first time on a stage. We met so many people tonight. But not all of them got a prize. We told them, 'It's okay. Today some people got one, next time will be your chance. And we will all smile and clap for you.' :) It is important for people to know that everybody wins someday. Everybody gets their turn. BELLA - Yippee! My Dad is home! 😄 He went on a trip today. But only for the daytime. He came back by night. He went to Lucknow to talk about his new TV show - #IndiasBestJudwaah. I asked him, what is a judwaa? He said he will explain tomorrow because it is very late and babies need to sleep. I told him we already slept! A lot. So we were wide awake now! 😃 Also nobody is allowed to stay out this late. My dad would have got in big trouble from my Mom. So I stayed awake to save him. But it was okay. My Mom said if someone is working, they are not in trouble. Now we have to sleep. We are fine but our Dad is very tired. He worked a lot today. #babydiaries @zeetv

BELLA - Today my Dad's new show is on TV. It started yesterday. He is not a flying snake anymore. The Naagin show is finished. This one is about twins. I like that better. I'm scared of snakes, but not of twins. My Dad says he already has India's best judwa - me and my sister. I asked him then why is he searching India for best twins if he already has them? 🤔 He says we're the best BABY twins. :) But now he's looking for the best grown-up twins. OK. Now I understand! 😊 Thanks Daddy. :) Now we should go. My Dad has to watch his show. #IndiasBestJudwaah is starting at 8 o'clock @zeetv. BELLA - Today our Dad's TV show was on - #IndiasBestJudwaah. The show is a contest for twins. They have to show how connected they are. And every time, the twins have to do different things. I asked my Dad, what kind of things do they do? Do they have to make funny faces? Because then we could win! See!!! 😃 Okay, I'm making a face but my twin is doing nothing! 😣 She is going to make us lose! I guess we need to find something we can both do. We have to practice something else. It amazes me how smart babies are. They know everything. They see you change your clothes, pick up your car keys, and they KNOW you are going out! 😄 They stop whatever they're doing - they come grab your ankles or and they head towards the door themselves! Haha! And especially when it's their Dad leaving for work - we have to accompany him to his car, wait until he drives off, and then go back upstairs. The 34-year-old actor feels men now prefer to spend more time with their children. "The evolution I have seen from my father's time is that my father used to tell me, and even tells me right now, that he never put his babies to bed. My doctor also said that they were never around babies, but now the evolution is that the fathers have got involved a lot into their baby's life. So, it's easy for the mother also," he added. The actor says it's a good evolution that has happened. He says having his mother, mother-in-law and sister around has been a great help in handling the 9-month-old twins. But Karanvir, who is popularly remembered as Viraj Dobriyal from the thriller show "Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava?", describes parenthood as a "different experience". "So we are responsible and caring, but we are really blessed that these little angles are in our lives. Sometimes me and Teejay wonder what karma we have done that they've been sent to us. They are really God's blessings," he added.

Fathering a child is easy - it takes a special person to be a 'Dad.' He is his child's first hero, and that title has to be earned. How do you know you've earned it? You see it in the eyes of your children - it's in the joy on their faces, how they light up when they see you. :) @karanvirbohra You've been so terrific since day one, so hands-on, and the babies know how much you love them. :) You are that special kind of Dad, the kind baby girls adore. :) These two could not have got a better one than you. There's no doubt a baby brings everyone so much joy, but we sometimes forget how much joy WE bring a baby, too. :) This is all a child needs from a parent - a little bit of their time every day. 😊👶🏻 More than toys or anything else, they want us to laugh with them, play with them, let them know how loved they are. How is he managing his work and personal life being a celebrity? "When the children were sleeping, I had to work. When I come back they wait for me with open arms and mouth wide open... So it's exciting. Fortunately, the show I am doing right now doesn't occupy too much of my time. I shoot three-to-four days in a week and rest of the time I spend with my babies," Karanvir said. Karan is currently seen hosting Zee TV reality show 'India's Best Judwaah'. He was last seen with Mouni Roy in hit show 'Naagin 2'.
