Karan Patel Aka Mr Bajaj Of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ To Undergo COVID-19 Test After Parth Samthaan Tested Positive For Coronavirus

The decision of Karan Patel to take a precautionary test for COVID-19 after he joined ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ as the new Mr Bajaj.

The Entertainment industry has been hurdling with disappointing news one after the other since the commencement of Lockdown. It hasn’t been a great year for this industry. We lost too many gems from the industry who will always be irreplaceable. Recently, Parth Samthaan aka Anurag Basu of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ fame tested positive for the virus and the entire crew was obligated to go for a mandatory test. Though Karan Patel has not been shooting since the last few days, he has also decided to undergo a swab test for precautionary measures. Balaji Telefilms’ Creative Head Tanusri Dasgupta Tests Positive For Coronavirus; Hospitalised Karan Patel entered ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ last week as the new Mr Bajaj. Earlier, Karan didn’t feel imperative to undergo a test as he never came in contact with Parth Samthaan. But now, he feels the test needs to be done for preventive measures. Earlier, while speaking to an entertainment portal Karan assured everyone of his safety and said, “I am safe and currently at home. It's been three days since I have shot. So I am safe. Since I have just entered the show I have not shot with Parth for a single scene so I don't feel I have to go for any test." But owing to the current situation, the actor later made up his mind to undergo the COVID-19 test for everyone’s safety. His PR team released a statement which read, “Karan has not been shooting since the last few days but because he is a responsible citizen and feels safety comes first he is getting a Swab test done on personal accord for the safety of all around him. This is a precautionary measure he is taking to provide peace to all who are concerned for his safety and his immediate family members towards whom he is responsible. Please be rest assured he is fine and there is nothing to worry about. Please do not panic this too shall pass." We hope for the best for the whole team of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’.
