New Delhi: Television actress Kamya Panjabi, who was last seen featuring in Zee TV’s ‘Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’, has tested positive for COVID-19 in this third wave of the pandemic. The actress shared the news in a tweet and revealed that she is having symptoms.

Kamya disclosed in her tweet that she is down with high fever, spinning head and body ache. She wrote while sharing the tweet, “Survived the first 2, caught by the 3rd one so here I m with high fever, spinning head, bodyache to the core #COVID19   positive n staying positive! This too shall pass! Mask up people, stay safe n remember 2022 hamara hai”.

Kamya Panjabi is ardent follower of Salman Khan's popular reality show 'Bigg Boss 15'. She was also a contestant in the 7th season of this reality show. Kamya keeps on sharing her opinion on contestants on her Twitter. 

The 'Banoo Main Teri Dulhann' actress recently shared a tweet on Tejasswi Prakash and asked her not to be a 'Abla Nari' and that she should take a stand for herself. Her tweet read, "Oh god tejaaaa where has the self respect gone????? After all those hurts, allegations n cryings u are again back with him, take a stand for urself don’t be a Alba nari". 

Kamya Punjabi has joined the Congress party on October 27, 2021. 

In another tweet, she wrote, "Why would Teja call Shamita? It does look like an insecurity, thoda dimaag se khelo apne love angle ke chakkar meh apni game naa kharab karo why spoil ur game when very soon it will baby laddoo crap again".
