Bigg Boss 12 contestant Anup Jalota has managed to become the talk of the town after he entered the BB 12 house with his 28-year-old girlfriend Jasleen Matharu. The Bhajan maestro revealed on the premiere episode of Bigg Boss 12 that he is dating his student, setting many tongues wagging. Host Salman Khan and the special panel also couldn’t stop but take a dig at the 65-year-old singer. Interestingly, Jasleen said that the two of them are in a relationship for the past three-and-a-half years. The two of them have even become the butt of jokes and their memes are trending on social media. Amidst all the hullabaloo regarding Anup and Jasleen, grapevines have been buzzing with the rumours that the ‘Aisi Laagi Lagan’ singer was approached by the makers to be part of BB 10 but he rejected it. But that time I had lot of work commitments and concerts due to which I was unable to do. And when at the last moment I had to back out, they roped in Swami Om at my place. Interestingly, another report in an entertainment portal suggested that Jalota opted out of Bigg Boss 10 because of a different reason. He was supposed to enter the show alone in BB 10 but he wanted to make his relationship with Jasleen official and hence he agreed to be part of the current season of the popular reality show, the report in BollywoodLife said.
