Ekta Kapoor's Shows ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, ‘Naagin 5’ & ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ To Resume Shooting From THIS Date?

The shoots for popular shows including Kumkum Bhagya and Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 will commence soon.

New Delhi: TV buffs have been eagerly waiting for the resumption of shoots so that they can see their favourite shows on the small screen. The entertainment industry was severely affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic as shooting for all films, TV shows and ads were put on a halt. The government of Maharashtra has given permission to the producers to resume their projects. The makers are required to follow all the guidelines and take necessary precautions to safeguard the cast and crew. Balaji Telefilms will start the shooting for their popular shows like ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and ‘Naagin 5’ very soon. Yes, you read that right. According to a report in an entertainment portal, the actors of the three shows will commence shooting from June 26. Ekta Kapoor is taking all steps to ensure safety of the cast and crew. "When the pandemic hit our country, everything had to be put on hold for an indefinite period. But thanks to our government, with their help and support, Balaji Telefilms will be able to resume shooting some of their famous TV shows from 26th June namely Kumkum Bhagya, Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Naagin 5. Ekta Kapoor is very enthralled and will be taking all necessary precautions to ensure safety of its actors and crew," a source close to the industry told Pinkvilla.
‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ stars Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in lead roles while ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ features Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha. Zee TV released a new promo for ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and announced that new episodes of the show will be aired soon.
Ekta had earlier revealed that ‘Naagin 4’ will end with a four-episode finale. Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria and Rashami Desai are expected to wrap up shoot for the supernatural show. ‘Naagin 5’ will take over the slot of fourth season of the hit franchise. Speculations are rife that Hina Khan and Surbhi Chandna will play the female leads in ‘Naagin 5’. The makers are yet to confirm the rumours floating on the internet.
