Ghulaam actor Vikkas on cloud nine after winning award for negative role

New Delhi: TV actor Vikkas Manaktala is elated after winning the Gold Award for the Best Actor in Negative on Television for his role in TV show "Ghulaam". Vikkas won the award on Monday night at Zee Gold Awards 2017 here for his performance as Veer, a powerful and rich man, on Life OK. "I am extremely happy and thrilled to have received the award. And it gives me immense pleasure to thank everyone who's supported and loved me to make this happen," Vikkas said in a statement. He added: "I would like to thank my parents and my gorgeous wife Guunjan who has been my pillar of strength through thick and thin. My producers Saurabh Tewari, Rahil Qaazi, Rajesh Chadha, Kewal sir, Sumeet ma'am who gave me the role of Veer and guided me to perform my best." The actor also thanked his fans for "showering so much love and blessings upon me". "This award is dedicated to my God, my grandfather who is not with me anymore in the physical form," he added.
