FINALLY! Short film on PRATYUSHA BANERJEE’s DEATH released

New Delhi: TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee ended her life on 1st April 2016. Complete Telly town went in shock after hearing this unfortunate news. Earlier in the day, we told you that court stopped the release of the short film based on Pratyusha’s life, directed by her best friend and TV actress Kamya Punjabi. But now, despite the court’s order, Kamya has helped the makers in releasing the short film titled ‘Hum Kuch Keh Na Sakey’. Short film features Pratyusha Banerjee and it is 18 minute long video. Basically, the video shows the last period of her life and also focuses on how badly relationship affected her personally and mentally. The story of the short film is based on how a heartbroken girl gets into alcohol, drugs and goes into severe depression. During the shoot of the film, Pratyusha was going through a similar phase in her real life relationship with Rahul Raj Singh. Earlier while talking to a leading news daily, Kamya said “Though a work of fiction, it will seem quite similar to what Pratyusha must have gone through. She will be seen heartbroken, resorting to vices like drinking and smoking. As a narrator, I will interlink her reel and real lives, and question viewers on why people change in love and choose to remain silent sufferers. Pratyusha didn’t use glycerin while shooting the emotional scenes. I too was nursing a heartbreak at that time." Kamya Punjabi turns narrator for the short film.
