Drashti Dhami meets 65-year-old fan

Mumbai: Actress Drashti Dhami, who will next be seen in "Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil", got a surprise visit from a 65-year-old German fan, while shooting for the upcoming TV show in Austria. The woman, who is a big fan of Drashti's past roles, was keen on meeting her. Hence, she flew down via a seven-hour long flight from Germany to Austria with her grandson to meet the actress. Drashti was thrilled when her fan gave her special gifts and vouchers to avail of a shopping spree at her self-owned bridal wear boutique. "I feel blessed to be loved by fans like these. The efforts they take, is commendable. For me every little thing they do matters and I will always feel grateful and appreciate all their efforts," Drashti said in a statement. The fan told Drashti that she had visited India a few years back with the hope to meet the actor, but did not get to fulfil her wish. She also expressed her desire to have wanted to gift Drashti a bridal wear for her wedding from her own store. "Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil", which will be aired on Star Plus, will also feature Arjun Bijlani.
