Bigg Boss 14: After Shilpa Shinde, Shubhangi Atre Aka New Angoori From 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' To Participate In Salman Khan's Show?

The makers of 'Bigg Boss' have approached popular TV actress Shubhangi Atre aka Angoori from 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' for the next season of the show.

New Delhi: Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss’ is the biggest and most popular reality show on Indian television. The last season of the show managed to become the talk of the show. ‘Bigg Boss 13’ surpassed all the expectations and grabbed maximum eyeballs. Despite being aired at a late night slot, ‘BB 13’ raked in good TRPs for Colors channel. TV heartthrob Sidharth Shukla lifted the winner’s trophy of the show in a blockbuster finale. Although the show has ended months ago, the contestants continue in remain in limelight. The likes of Asim Riaz, Shehnaaz Gill, Paras Chhabra and Arti Singh became household names after participating in the show. Rashami Desai, who won hearts as Tapasya in ‘Uttaran’, gained a significant fan following post her stint in ‘Bigg Boss 13’. We had earlier informed you that the makers of the show have already started approaching celebs for ‘Bigg Boss 14’. As per the latest buzz, the Colors TV and Endemol have approached a popular TV actress for the new season. We are talking about Shubhangi Atre. Yes, read that right. Shubhangi has received a call from the makers but she hasn’t shown much interest as she is already a part of a popular show on a rival channel, the report in SpotboyE. It remains to be seen if she changes her mind or not.

The talented actress is fondly known for playing the role of Angoori Bhabhi in ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’. Interestingly, she replaced Shilpa Shinde in the popular sitcom.

Shilpa, who played the role of original Angrooi Bhabhi, had a fallout with the makers of ‘BhabhiJi Ghar Par Hain’. She later went on to do ‘Bigg Boss 11’ and ended up winning the show. ‘BB 11’ featuring Shilpa Shinde, Hina Khan and Vikas hogged all the limelight in 2017 and created a lot of buzz on social media. Shilpa and Vikas’ rivalry had set several tongues wagging.
