Small screen’s favourite actress Rashami Desai's break-up with ex Arhaan Khan took an ugly turn recently when the later accused her of playing the woman card to gain sympathy after she told her fans she regrets her relationship with Arhaan during an Instagram live session. (Rashami Desai- Arhaan Khan in Bigg Boss 13) Breaking his silence over their infamous break-up, during an interview, Arhaan has accused Rashami of trying to defame him and become a 'sati savitri' herself. He said, "These are baseless allegations, either to malign and defame me ya khud ko Sati Savitri bataane ke liye. She is playing the woman card to gain everyone’s sympathy. This is what she did even inside the house." Even in her live chat with fans, Rashami had mentioned that she really wants to end the chapter with dignity. Rashami-Arhaan break-up got bitter recently, when Rashami's bank statements were leaked in public. It became evident that Arhaan had taken Rs 15 lakh from Rashami's account, which the latter claimed was done without her knowledge. Not only this, Rashami accused Arhaan of owing much more than the sum mentioned above. However, Arhaan refuted all allegations in his latest exclusive interview with BT.

Arhaan added in the same interview, "She can’t take all the credit for the relationship; I, too, had given it all. And she keeps talking about doing me favours. Aisa nahi hai ki mere paas rehne ko ghar nahi tha, ki main road par tha toh ye mujhe utha kar apne ghar laayi. It would be better if we avoided levelling false allegations against each other and focused on work. We should be fearful of God and not lie. I have all the proof to show that all her claims are baseless and false."
