Mumbai: TV actress Avneet Kaur has been roped in to play the role of Charumati in popular Star Plus TV show "Chandra Nandni". Avneet will be seen as the wife of actor Siddharth Nigam, who plays Bindusara. "When I auditioned for Charumati, I wasn't sure if I will bag the role. But the makers were very impressed and I started shooting immediately. Siddharth is a great guy and we get along really well. I'm very happy to be back to doing what I love," Avneet said in a statement. "Chandra Nandni" is aired on Star Plus. Avneet Kaur started her career in this industry as a kid. She participated in Zee TV's show 'Dance India Dance Lil Masters'. She was one of the Top three finalists. She has also acted in Rani Mukherjee's movie 'Mardani'. On small screen, she has acted in TV shows like, 'Savitri', 'Meri Maa', 'Ek Mutthi Aasmaan' and 'Hamari Sister Didi'. Fans are already loving the jodi of Siddharth and Avneet.
