Amit Tandon's wife Ruby is in Dubai Jail for a month!

The singer turned actor Amit Tandon who was also seen in Star Plus popular show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' as 'Subbu' was in news recently for the fallout with his wife and the two were even living separately. Seen in various other shows too, the famous actor and his wife hit the rough patch in marriage, post which their 7 yr old daughter Jiyana stayed with her mother Ruby at their previous hflat in Milat nagar, Andheri West while husband Amit had moved out in the new abode in Goregaon West. However now a new report claims that the wife is in a huge legal trouble that too not in the country but in Dubai. A report on Spotboye reveals that Ruby, who's a celebrity dermatologist with a lot of A-list TV actors as her clients has been arrested and put in Al Raffa Jail of Dubai. The report states that certain DHA (Dubai Health Authority) officials have alleged that Ruby threatened a few government officials.  A source revealed "Ruby has been behind bars since nearly a month." Television industry’s top actress Mouni Roy is one of Ruby's many celebrity friends from the industry and their pictures together are the evidence of their friendship.

Though the couple is at the verge of divorce, husband Amit was recently in Dubai for few days leaving no stone unturned in trying to get Ruby free, but has so far not succeeded. Buzz is, he is planning to fly out once again to bring her back to India. Says the source, "Amit and Ruby have had problems in their marriage of late, but Amit is a very honest and nice guy who will never walk away from a woman who is in a tight spot. And Ruby today is in one." When contacted, Amit told Spotboye, "I am very saddened by the developments that such a hardworking and caring woman who did her best to treat the rich, poor, and disabled to the best of her abilities and genuinely make a positive change has been put through this." He adds, "Some very influential people or competitors who could not stand to see her succeed, as Dr. Ruby had begun treatments on not only Bollywood but even Hollywood celebrities, levied false accusations against her due to which the poor girl has been held in remand for almost a month. I always want to believe in the due process of law, but sadly this time Ruby is at the recieving end of it.  We still hold faith that the judicial authorities will realize that she is 100 per cent innocent and let her come back to her work and most importantly to her daughter who misses her every day." Apart from YHM, Amit was also seen in shows like ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, ‘Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai’, Dill Mill Gayye and many more.
