After Ekta Kaul’s EXIT, this ‘Nagarjun’ actress becomes the NEW LEAD

New Delhi: The Lead actress of Star Plus show ‘Mere Angne Mein’ Ekta Kaul, recently bid adieu to the serial. After her exit, makers were searching for an actress who could fit in that role and be the protagonist. Finally! Search has ended and the show has got its new lead face. According to news in Tellychakkar.com, TV actress Richa Mukherjee has been roped in to play the role. She portrayed the role of ‘Urmi’ in ‘Nagarjun – Ek Yoddha’ and has also been seen in Suryaputra Karn, Begusarai. As per the source of the portal, “Her character, a girl from Banaras will be shown to be a victim of domestic violence. Already married, the girl would be forced to get out of her house as her husband would have intentions of re-marriage. In a quest to end her life, she would try to commit suicide when she will be rescued by Riya’s (Ekta Kaul) family, and will be brought home.” On the other side, after her delivery Riya will breathe her last. Richa will then enter the Riya’s house and her journey will start. Also she will get attached to the Riya’s new-born-baby.
