Swedish Artist Recreates Vijay's 'Ranjithame' As Club Song Following Success Of 'Patakha Guddi', Watch Video
Following the success of the remixes of "Patakha Guddi," a song by AR Rahman and sung by the Nooran Sisters, Diorange has now produced a spellbinding remix of "Ranjithame," from 'Varisu.'
New Delhi: Instagram users may be familiar with the name Diorange. Users have probably heard the musical works of this Swedish musician who specialised in remixing well-known Indian songs, while idly surfing the platform.
Following the success of the remixes of "Patakha Guddi," a song by AR Rahman and sung by the Nooran Sisters, Diorange has now produced a spellbinding remix of "Ranjithame," a song by Thaman S and sung by Vijay and MM Manasi from the film 'Varisu'. On Sunday, Diorange released his version of the song, which has a club song feel.
Sharing his version of the song on Instagram, the musician wrote, "What if…"

Netizens went gaga over the reprised version that sounds more like a club song. One Instagram user wrote, "Bro genuinely you are my favourite artist from now on coz first it was ali ali and then the malayalam grandma song then this 🔥 bruh i mean keep continuing this series."

An earlier remixed version of "Patakha Guddi" by Diorange received over 19 million Instagram views. He also made available a second reel that demonstrated how he produced the song by taking the voices from the original and adding a powerful bassline, some glitches, ambient sounds, and flute samples.

A remix of "Kalakkatha," sung by Nanjiyamma and created by Jakes Bejoy, was recently released by the artist, and it too quickly gained popularity. Nanjiyamma won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for the song.
