Ranveer Singh Surprises Deepika Padukone At Work On Wedding Anniversary: ‘Diamonds Are Not Needed’

New Delhi: Power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary on November 14. Ranveer is a doting husband and he did not miss the opportunity to make the day special for his wife.  

Deepika was busy with her professional commitments and Ranveer gave her a surprise and went to his office with flowers and chocolates. The actor took to Instagram and shared a picture of Deepika, who was seen working with her team in her office. In the photo, Deepika wore a white outfit and tied her hair up in a bun.   The caption read, “When she has to work on your anniversary so you surprise her at her office.” 

He also added, "Ps: Never underestimate the power of flowers & chocolates (devil emoji). Diamonds not needed buahaha. Take notes and thank me later gentlemen...." 

Ranveer and Deepika got married on November 14, 2018, at Italy's Lake Como after dating for six years. They started dating while shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela'.  

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh was recently at the Marrakech International Film Festival where he revealed an incident in which he was sought for sexual favours, dispelling the misconception that only actresses experience the casting couch. He recalled the dreadful episode when he was subtly approached for sexual favours by a casting director or producer, who he would not name. 

“This guy calls me to this seedy place and is like, ‘Are you a hard worker, or a smart worker?’. I didn’t consider myself to be smart, so I said:  ‘I think I’m a hard worker.’ He was like, ‘Darling, be smart, be sexy’. I had all those kinds of experiences during those three-and-a-half years, and I think it was that period that makes me value the opportunities I have now,” Singh revealed. 

On the work front, Ranveer will be seen in 'Cirkus' by Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar’s directorial 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' while Deepika has many interesting projects lined up including 'Pathaan' with Shah Rukh Khan and 'Fighter' with Hrithik Roshan.
