The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2: Fans of The Great Indian Kapil Show have reason to celebrate as Netflix officially renews the popular series for a second season. The ongoing season has featured an impressive lineup of guests including Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, actor Ranbir Kapoor and his family, cricket stars Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer, international pop icon Ed Sheeran, and various other entertainment industry icons. 

Netflix announces The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2

To share the news, the makers took to social media, posting a recap video of the current season and announcing the show's renewal. The message read: "Entertainment ki baarish hogi do-bara, kyunki The Great Indian Kapil Show ka Season 2 aayega bas kuch hi mahino mein! Aur naye season ka wait karte hue Season 1 binge karlo!" Kapil Sharma on season 2

Host Kapil Sharma expressed his gratitude and excitement for the second season, stating, “This has been a wonderful first season of The Great Indian Kapil Show. Since its debut, 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' has consistently ranked among Netflix’s top two shows in India. It has also made history as the first Indian series to remain on the Global Top 10 Non-English TV list for five weeks. The show has captivated viewers with stellar performances by Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur.   The finale of the ongoing season is set to premiere on June 22 on Netflix featuring Kartik Aaryan.
