She shared, "Hussain sahab was very close to my husband's family. When they asked him to design the wedding cards, he said, 'I’ll meet the girl first, then I’ll paint.' After meeting me, he said we were a ‘Radha-Krishna jodi,’ and created four beautiful cards—one each for the Mata Ki Chowki, Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception."
In addition to showcasing her lavish lifestyle on the show, Shalini shared some of her unique travel habits. "We carry our goat curd, sprouts, and vegetables wherever we go, especially to Bombay. Even the lemons there aren't up to our standards, so we send recipes to chefs during our travels."
Shalini, who is an art collector and philanthropist based in New Delhi, is married to businessman Sanjay Passi. He is a prominent figure in India’s business world, best known for leading the Pasco Group. A graduate with a B.Com. (Honors) from Hansraj College, Delhi University, Sanjay began his career in 1989 when he took over his father’s Tata Motors dealership in Chandigarh. This was the start of his successful journey in the automobile industry.
