'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' actress Anita Hassanandani OPENS UP about her #MeToo struggle

New Delhi: Started from Hollywood #MeToo movement aggravated Bollywood and TV celebrities to speak out about casting couch. Not even female actors, but male actors too have been victim of this corrupt system in entertainment industry. After TV actor Karan Tacker spoke about his initial struggling days' casting couch, 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' actress Anita Hassanandani opened up about her struggle in TV Industry. Ye Hai Mohabbatein' actress Anita Hassanandani OPENS UP about her #MeToo struggle (Image- Instagram@anitahassanandani) Anita who made her debut with 'Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii' in 2001, told Hindustan Times, "Luckily, I was blessed to find Ekta Kapoor (producer) as a mentor. Once you have a good start and you do a successful show, it becomes pretty easy. Not easy easy, but yes, there's much less struggle." But I guess, you have to handle yourself correctly and get out of that situation. The industry is such. But I feel that today, [the situation] is way better, as your work speaks more. In our days, it was worse. That's what I feel, but I could be wrong," she added. Anita is now gearing up for her upcoming TV show 'Naagin 3' which stars Karishma Tanna, and Rajat Tokas as well. She has starred in popular shows like Kkavyanjali, Kasamh Se and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.
