'One Man, Many Aliases, One Mission': Vicky Kaushal Shares Intriguing Teaser Of 'Sardam Udam'
Amazon Prime Video has released the teaser of 'Sardar Udam' to honour Shaheed Bhagat Singh on his birth-anniversary.
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is all set to entertain the audience with a new film, which is based on the life of revolutionary freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh. The upcoming biographical drama will premiere directly on a leading OTT platform next month. Ahead of its release, the makers of the movie have unveiled the teaser on Monday (September 27).
Vicky, who will be seen as Sardar Udhan, took to social media to share the intriguing teaser of the film. The teaser gave us a glimpse of the untold story of the freedom fighter, who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer in London.
The video started with Vicky aka Sardam Udam Singh meticulously piecing together a document. We saw a stack of passports, which reflected different names and a glimpse of Vicky in the end. The teaser has managed to create anticipation for the film and also set the tone for an engrossing story of a freedom fighter with many aliases but with a single mission. His aim is to avenge the gruesome tragedy, which shook India.
The 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' star posted the teaser along with the caption, "On the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, I’m proud to bring to you the story of his ally- Sardar Udham Singh- one man, many aliases, one mission. Presenting the teaser of #SardarUdham."
Shashank Khaitan, Mukti Mohan, Bhumi Pednekar and other celebs dropped comments on the post. Shashank commented, "Looking killer." Fans have also flooded the comments section with their messages.
'Sardar Udham' Release Date
The film, directed by Shoojit Sircar, has been produced by Rising Sun Films and Kino Works. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on October 16, 2021. The makers have promised to keep the audience hooked on to their screens during Dusshera with the riveting drama.
