Varun Dhawan Opens up about his ‘FIRST KISS’
New Delhi: Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan recently opened about his 'first kiss moment' and said that he is a real gentleman when it comes to women.
However, while the 29-year-old actor narrated the entire incident of him landing in a kiss at the age of 13, he chose not to reveal the name of the lucky one, reports Bollywood life.
"I'm not going to tell you her name. A gentleman doesn't kiss and tell. Anyway, I was 13-year-old, she was a year younger to me. It was at the back of her building. I don't know why, but I thought I knew what I was going to be doing. I'd seen Titanic and all. After a few minutes of my fumbling around, she got impatient, caught me, said 'what are you doing?' and then just went for it," said the 'Dilwale' actor.
In a jaw drooping confession, the actor also opened up about his unfortunate heartbreaks and the story of being cheated.
"I was in HR college at the time, it was the first serious, long term relationship I'd been in. I think it had lasted four months but then she cheated with me. I think I dealt with it okay, I'm a little dramatic , I'm an actor, after all so I think I somewhere wanted to experience heartbreak anyway. There are supposed to be nine emotions, and you need to go through all of them to learn," he said.
Sharing his take on relationships, the 'ABCD 2' star said, "I don't think this generation is as 'fast' as people say. I mean, the 70's had their flower-power generation. It's just a phase that they went through, and now we're going through. Relationships are awesome, I think we need them. There's lots of kinds; friendship, family. but you have to work on them, invest in your relationships in people."
On the work front, Varun will next be seen in Karan Malhotra's 'Shuddhi' along with Alia Bhatt and Pankaj Kapoor. (ANI)
