'Uri: The Surgical Strike': Vicky Kaushal-Yami Gautam fight piracy by entering a 'pirated video'! Must Watch!

Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gutam starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike' is declared a super hit with the box office collection crossing 60 crore in past 6 days. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh just dropped yesterday's collection of the film and which is 7.73 crore, taking the total to 63.54 crore. While the film runs successfully at the theaters, the makers take an initiative which is a first of it's kind, to fight piracy. They uploaded a good 1.5 minute long 'pirated version' of their film on to piracy sites in which the film starts from the CBFC certificate showing onscreen along with the opening credits. The 'pirated video' also then proceeds to the scene of the film in which Vihan Singh Shergill(Vicky) and RAW agent Jasmine/Pallavi Sharma(Yami) with their team plan the surgical strike. And here is the real twist that must've caught the wrongdoers totally unaware! Commenting on this initiative, 'Uri' director Aditya Dhar told indianexpress.com: “Piracy is one thing that bothers filmmakers the most. For any film, it is very damaging to see their film getting released on Torrent or Pirate Bay because there are so many people who have worked hard on it and so many things are dependent on the film doing well at the box office. Even a difference of a few crores puts a lot of pressure on the producers and the film."
