Many fans from across the globe have requested the CBI to share findings in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case as the agency has been probing the high profile case for more than four months. The agency said that it has not ruled out 'any aspect' as of now. Swamy wrote a letter to the Prime Minister's Office, asking them about the status of investigation in the case, following which the PMO sent the letter to the agency. "The CBI is conducting investigation in a thorough and professional manner using scientific techniques. During the investigation, all the aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as on date," the CBI said in its letter. Ishakaran Singh Bhandari took to Twitter to share CBI's letter. He tweeted, "CBI reply to @Swamy39 on Sushant Singh Rajput Case! Wonderful development in Justice & Transparency by CBI. Must appreciate it."
The agency started its investigation in Sushant's case in August 2020 after the Supreme Court ordered a CBI probe into the matter. The 'Dil Bechara' actor's father had lodged an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and others under various sections of the IPC including abetment to suicide at Patna's Rajiv Nagar Police station. An AIIMS' forensic team had ruled out the possibility of murder in Sushant's case, calling it a 'case of death by suicide'. The report refuted the theories of 'strangling or poisoning' and said that 'there were no injuries over the body'. The NCB, who started its probe into alleged Bollywood drugs case after the death of Sushant, arrested Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty in September  for allegedly procuring and financing drugs for the actor. The Bombay High Court granted bail to Rhea on October 7. Her brother was granted bail after staying behind the bars for close to three months.
The NCB grilled several tinsel town celebs including Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Arjun Rampal in connection with the drugs-related case. The drugs law enforcement agency also sought a reply from Karan Johar over a video from his house party. The filmmaker clarified that no drugs were used in the party which was organized at his place in 2019.
