Sonu Sood Launches Scholarship Programme For Underprivileged Students; Pledges To Support Their Complete Education

Migrant Messiah Sonu Sood launched the full scholarship programme on his mother Prof. Saroj Sood’s name. Read on to know the full details.

New Delhi: Sonu Sood has been working tirelessly in the COVID-19 pandemic. While the world was enjoying their quarantine period, the ‘Dabbang’ actor has been helping lakhs of people including workers, students and even the people who are residing outside the country. He has been given the title of ‘Migrant Messiah’ by his fans as he took up the responsibility of transporting migrant labourers to their homes via buses, trains and flights. Taking to his social media, Sonu Sood announced the launch of this programme which has been named after his mother. The actor wrote, “Hindustan Badhega Tabhi, Jab Padhenge Sabhi! My mother Prof.Saroj Sood always believed that everyone deserves an equal chance to a healthy happy future. So launching full scholarships for students on her name Prof.Saroj Sood scholarships today for higher education. The ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ actor’s mother was a professor by profession and on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Sonu Sood shared a heartfelt post for his mother. While sharing a painting of his mother, the actor wrote, “तेरे ही दिखाए रास्ते पे निकला हूँ माँ। मंज़िल दूर है लेकिन मिलेगी ज़रूर। Happy teacher’s day my teacher Prof. Saroj sood.”
Speaking on the professional front, the actor will be next seen starring in ‘Prithviraj’ alongside Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Ashutosh Rana and others. This movie is slated to release on Diwali 2020.
