Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, who tied the knot on May 8, 2018, are celebrating their third wedding anniversary. Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor took to social media to share a heartfelt post for the couple on their special day. She also posted three throwback photos wherein the two lovebirds can be seen flashing their smiles while striking a pose for the camera. 

The 'Veere Di Wedding' producer said that they have to 'make up for two years of lost adventures' due to the COVID-19 crisis. Sonam is currently stationed in London with her husband Anand. The couple owns a house in Notting Hill.

“Happy anniversary to my favourite people on the planet. Gotta make up for two years of lost adventures but we’ve got a lifetime to do ittttt! I feel like a part of my soul is missing. Love you so much. FaceTime family meetings will suffice till then,” Rhea wrote.

Amrita Arora, Dia Mirza and other tinsel town celebs dropped comments on the post. Dia wrote, "Happy anniversary @sonamkapoor and @anandahuja. keep growing and keep spreading love."

Sonam and Anand also thanked Rhea for the heartwarming post. The 'PadMan' star commented, "Love you so so much Rhee. Miss you."

Sonam's mother also showered love on the couple on her official Instagram handle. She shared unseen photos of the duo on their wedding anniversary.

"Happy happy anniversary.. May God Bless you. May your love keep growing , increasing day by day.May your days ahead be filled with laughter , May you create wonderful memories in the years ahead. Love you both so much," her post read.

 

Sonam and Anand got married in an Anand Karaj ceremony in Mumbai in the presence of their loved ones. The couple walked down the aisle after dating each other for few years.

The two lovebirds often share lovey dovey photos with each other on social media. They hosted a grand wedding reception for their industry friends, which was attended by the likes of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.

On the professional front, Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in Shome Makhija’s ‘Blind’. The cast and crew of the upcoming film wrapped the shoot in Glasgow in February 2021. The makers are yet to announce the release date of the suspense thriller.
