Shivaay vs Ae Dil Hai Mushkil: Opening Weekend Box Office Collection

New Delhi: Box Office collections of Ajay Devgn starrer 'Shivaay' continues to plunge as the third day’s collections have come down to Rs 8.26 crore. The movie in the first three days of its release has aggregated Rs 28.17 crore. On Friday and Saturday the movie had collected Rs 10.40 crore and 9.51 crore respectively. Sunday’s results aren’t encouraging as the film. Ranbir-Anushka starrer ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, on the other hand, is performing better than ‘Shivaay’. Its Sunday collections were recorded at Rs 9.2 crore. During the first two days it gathered Rs. 13.30 crore and Rs. 13.10 crore taking its total count so far to Rs. 35.60 crore. The international opening weekend of ADHM collected $ 6.15 million (INR 41crores). It is the second highest international opening weekend of 2016. It is highest opening weekend for a Karan Johar and Ranbir Kapoor film. The dropping figures for both films on Sunday could be attributed to Diwali as the audiences were busy with the festivities and spent more time at home.
