Shah Rukh Khan shares details of 'King'
Speaking about 'King', Shah Rukh revealed, "There are certain kinds of films that I want to do, perhaps more age-centric, and I've been thinking about it for 6-7 years. One day, while sitting with Sujoy, who works with us at our office and has made some films for us, I mentioned this idea. He responded, 'Sir, I have a subject."
Shah Rukh also discussed his physical preparation for 'King', noting, "For my next film 'King', I need to start working on it, lose a bit of weight, and do some stretching." He explained that one reason it takes him so long to finish a film is that he likes to spend time with the director, considering the year-long journey they embark on together to make the movie.

About King
The film 'King' is also rumoured to feature Shah Rukh's daughter, Suhana Khan, marking her theatrical debut following her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar's coming-of-age period drama 'The Archies', which premiered on Netflix India last year.
In addition to Suhana, 'King' reportedly stars Abhishek Bachchan as the main antagonist. Shah Rukh, Abhishek, and Sujoy Ghosh have previously collaborated on the 2021 thriller 'Bob Biswas', in which Abhishek played the titular role. 'Bob Biswas' was a spin-off of the character originally portrayed by Saswata Chatterjee in Sujoy's 2012 hit 'Kahaani', starring Vidya Balan.
The film was co-produced by Sujoy and Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainment and marked the directorial debut of Sujoy's daughter Divya. Sujoy has also directed the thriller 'Badla' (2019) for Red Chillies, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu.
Additionally, 'King' is said to feature Abhay Verma, who recently gained attention for his role in the blockbuster horror-comedy 'Munjya'.
