New Delhi: Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar received backlash on social media after he apparently liked a nasty tweet comparing Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari’ first day box office collection with that of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’.  A Twitter user tweeted about Akshay's latest release 'Kesari' and compared SRK to Akshay's stardom and apparently called him as "B grade" actor. Fans blasted KJo for liking the offensive tweet and soon #ShameOnKaranJohar trended on Twitter. The ‘Kalank’ producer has apologized and also clarified that it was a technical glitch. Karan tweeted that he didn’t mean to like the tweet and it was a technical glitch.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is known for his wits, reacted to the entire controversy. SRK said that he hated clarifications on social media. ‘’I hate clarifications on SM. @karanjohar is technologically challenged but has other good qualities like his taste in clothes!?Just like Life, twitter doesn’t come with instructions, so mistakes r natural....& also he has fat fingers. Go easy all, Make Lov not War...it’s more fun,’’ The ‘Chennai Express’ actor wrote on the micro-blogging site.
